Meisterschaft is the masterpiece of exhaust systems and boasts a background of more than 10 years in development. Worldwide partners contributed to the experience, know-how, insight, premium quality, and impeccable designs that can be found within the Meisterschaft brand. GTHAUS harnessed the power of quality engineering to facilitate the best sounding and performing exhaust systems out there. To put it simply, there is nothing quite like it on the market and, arguably, nothing better. Now that you’re face to rear bumper with the Explorer ST (we don’t suggest checking this out on a car that isn’t yours—you will look strange), crawl under the vehicle, and look up. Ford pipes the exhaust to four outlets—but turns the gases 90 degrees to flow downward and exit from the underside of each chrome tip.
Jack up the car and soak the bottom exhaust manifold nuts from the bottom with a WD-40 . Also spray the bolts holding the front pipe by the exhaust manifold and by the resonators. This C63 S Edition 1 coupe has been equipped with an exhaust from Akrapovic, giving that twin-turbo V-8 some new life. Those deep bellows and crackles sound like they’re coming straight from one of AMG’s GT3 cars. In the world of aftermarket exhaust systems, Meisterschaft by GTHaus sits near the pinnacle of incredible-sounding exhaust systems. Countless hours of R&D pave the way to achieve the perfect pitch from each vehicle and application. The result is an exhaust that is well-tuned and delivers an aggressive and exotic note. The AMG Performance exhaust system ensures an even more emotional engine sound in the interior at the push of a button.
With a growing E63 AMG catalog loaded with Mercedes Benz E63 AMG parts, kits, and accessories, you’ll be able to find the parts that will best suit all of your maintenance requirements. The advantage of using FCP Euro over a chain store, independent garage, or Mercedes Benz dealership lies in our continued commitment to the customer. Often times the Mercedes dealership and garage owners will offer you services you don’t actually need, while simultaneously overcharging you for labor. Going to a chain store on the other hand can leave you in a position that makes you settle for a lower quality part that just isn’t up to par with the type of vehicle that you have. A high performing Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG luxury sedan is not something you see everyday. Its uniqueness and supercharged engine makes it a very special car deserving of the AMG badge. When you pop the hood you’ll find a 3.2 liter V6 engine and a twin-screw type supercharger that produces 349 horsepower with 332 lb-ft of torque giving the C32 AMG a quick jump off the line. The Mercedes C32 AMG is matted to a 5-speed automatic transmission with its engine and transmission making the car capable of hitting 60 mph in just 5 seconds. The Mercedes-Benz W203 C32 AMG was produced in the US from 2002 to 2004 with the C55 AMG eventually replacing the C32 for the 2005 model year.
That quad exhaust setup jutting from the back certainly isn’t production-spec, but it could be the only clue we need. For some time we’ve heard rumors about an amped-up GT R that could be called Clubsport. We even caught a car testing at the Nürburgring back in early April, and this could be it. Those rumors say the tweaked model will shed some weight and see power climb above 600 horsepower . If you want to exercise experimental engine upgrades without cooking the bodywork, pushing the exhaust pipes out away from the rear fascia would certainly help. There’s also the possibility that we’re seeing a prototype for the GT R Black Series.
The part comes in the largest crate I have seen at the dealer. The exhaust is one piece from the down pipe all the way back to the muffler. There will be a slight performance gain, but only once you push the car welllll beyond the stock power levels. All the performance exhaust is is the stock system without a resonator. I.e it will give better flow, but, you’re engine wont take advantage of the exhaust being able to flow more until you are pushing massive power. STEP.20.Triple check everything, in, under, and around the engine bay and around the car. Start up your car, warm it up (it will smell a little bad because of the WD-40, it will burn off eventually). Take it for a test drive; enjoy the increased power and the brutal exhaust sound. It may not seem as “normal” as if they just made it the same size, but it’s probably a negligible effect in the Big Picture.
The system is also beneficial to the overall engine performance. Some do it because louder exhaust sound shows how powerful their engine is. But maybe the funniest yet convincing reason is, it alerts the pedestrians that something monstrous is after them. There are many different styles of exhaust tips to choose from, including popular options like a dual exhaust tip or black exhaust tip. Exhaust tip shapes range from common shapes like round, oval, and rectangular, to less common options like oblong, trumpet, split oval, and more. In addition to shape, there are many finishes you can use to complement your ride. Black exhaust tips, stainless steel exhaust tips, and chrome exhaust tips are among the most popular finish options. The result is a much more aggressive sound and improved power.
We have a feeling the prototype lacked many of the bits and pieces of the Clubsport Package, while that rear diffuser will likely be replaced by a new setup to neatly integrate the exhaust. Speaking of which, our spies have informed us the test vehicle was a bit louder than the regular GT R. It looks like one of the novelties Mercedes has in tow is a different exhaust system with stacked dual tips on each corner of the rear bumper in the same vein as Lexus is doing with its hot F-badged cars. It seems the prototype had the R’s regular diffuser, but with the vertical fins chopped off to make room for the exhaust finishers. The hexagonal-shaped central exhaust might look like it’s still there, but you can see it’s actually blocked off. My SLK320 is not exactly a AMG but I wanted that little extra grunt without the car sounding like a Corsa with a drain pipe and my local exhaust shop put sport cats on for me. Done the job nicely quite a few of the lads from our local runs have commented on the sound. Established in 1990, Akrapovič is a Slovenian manufacturer of premium motorcycle exhaust systems. Akrapovič exhausts was founded by Igor Akrapovič, a racer and enthusiast who won multiple Formula-1 and World Superbike championship titles.

Supporting modifications – The highest power levels require supporting modifications. Depending on the engine, this could mean forged internals, built transmission, upgraded fuel system, 110+ octane race fuel, etc. Engine Health – Higher miles tends to result in increased build up and lower compression which can and will impact engine output. Properly maintained engines will have better performance than abused or neglected engines.

We soon found out, working on the cat-back exhaust section had no effect; it made not one extra hp over stock. Regardless of the brilliant work done by the R&D team at the AMG Factory, a lot of performance has been left on the table; we at Supersprint made the plan to set it free, as simple as it was. Although this engine did not rev as high as the later generation M156 6.2l V8, it had way more torque in the low and mid rpm range. Getting the best out of this magnificent powerplant is the only reason why we have developed a long tube headers system for the E55#AMG Kompressor V8 Wagon. That being said, they both have flaps that open up and change the sound. Thanks and hopefully someone can give me ideas as to how to retrofit the exhaust. We’ve always got the latest tech, the newest trends, and the most talked about labels.
